WHAT IS THE OFFICE CAKE?

 

Our gig is simple: We make really cool cakes for online and phone ordering.  We deliver to your Miami home or office, or you may pick up at either our Kendall location. The most common use of our service is for surprising friends and family for events such as birthdays, a baby welcoming or as a Thank you gifts from individuals, companies and organizations.  We Currently only serve Miami-Dade County.

 


PLACING AN ORDER


What are your hours?

Online Ordering: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 
By phone: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. 305-444-3202

 

How soon in advanced should I place my order?


Vague Answer Alert : -/ 
We become Sold-Out every day; sometimes by noon the same day; sometimes several days in advanced.  In a nutshell, we almost always can fulfill your next day orders and sometimes your same day requests on orders placed by 12 noon.
To be safe, we recommend placing your order at least 3-4 days in advanced.  
Fridays, Saturday and Holidays sell out especially fast. 

Why can't I click on a specific date on your calendar?

This is indicative of a Sold-Out day.

 

Can I make changes to my order?

Sometimes. Changes must be submitted by email and approved by The Office Cake by email.  


ORDER FULFILLMENT


When do you deliver? 

You may choose to have your order delivered Monday through Saturday.


Monday - Friday:
Regular Delivery Orders arrive between 11 am and 4 pm. 
Rush Delivery Orders arrive between 10 am and 2pm
Priority Rush Delivery Orders arrive between 9:30 am and 12 pm.

Saturday: 
Regular Delivery Orders  arrive between 9 am and 1 pm.  
Rush Delivery Orders Arrive between 9am and noon.

WE DO NOT OFFER SPECIFIC DELIVERY TIMES.

Sunday: We close Sundays. Cakes will keep very well in air conditioning overnight or refrigerated for up to five days.   

 

What happens if the recipient is not home?

We recommend choosing a date when your recipient is home and if possible alerting them of the delivery.  However, we do understand the desire to make it a complete surprise.  If choosing a place of business is an option, we highly recommend it.  Also make sure fill the phone number field for yourself and your recipient when placing your order. 

If all else fails and the recipient is not home, we don't give up easy.
These are the steps we'll take. 

One - Call the recipient to make arrangements.

Two - Attempt delivery to a neighbor and leave a note and/or voicemail message with recipient informing them.  

Three - Call you, the sender, to see if you can reach the recipient.

Four - Leave a note at the door with retrieval instructions at our nearest location. 

Please Note: We do not leave cakes on door step. It must be received by a person. 

What are your delivery rates?

 Delivery Rates fluctuate but are generally $9 - $11 for regular delivery.  And rush delivery options are available upon check out.  We currently only serve Miami-Dade County in Florida.


What are your Pickup Hours and Locations?

PLEASE NOTE:  ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED IN ADVANCED BY PHONE OR ONLINE.

ABOUT OUR CAKES

 

What flavors do you offer?

Click on your favorite design and see the flavors and fillings selection to the right of the product image. 

 

Should the cake be refrigerated?

Only if being consumed more than 24 hours after delivery. Otherwise, it is best to keep cakes in air conditioned room, in order to preserve its moisture. 
 

Can you Customize?

Yes. We do limited customization. Please see our Fondant Custom link for custom specifications and to see pictures of some of our customized cakes.  

If you are looking for those really cool 3D cakes that seem to defy gravity, well that's just not our gig.  We offer really cheerful cakes on an easy-ordering platform and short notice fulfillment. These neat projects, we leave to the pro's like our colleagues at our sister company Ana Paz Cakes - Call them for an appointment at 305-471-5850.  

What about Allergies?

Your health is more important to us than your business.  If you have concerns regarding allergies, please know that our cakes MAY CONTAIN products such as, but not limited to, nuts, gluten and other ingredients that may be harmful to individuals with food allergies.
